To Spray or not to spray? That is the question!
One thing I found in all the articles and videos was to use nonstick cooking spray on the mold. When I did using regular nonstick spray it left a really gross residue on the back. I tried olive oil, there was no residue like the regular spray but they were greasy.
Thinking about this dilemma it dawned on me that silicone molds don't require any nonstick products. The next batch I made I did not apply anything to the molds and they turned out perfect. If you are using any silicone molds DON'T use any nonstick products even if the recipe states to do so.
